Gwen Pew was born in Hong Kong, raised in London, Beijing, and Leeds, and based in Singapore. As a journalist, her work has been published in The Guardian (UK), The Standard (Hong Kong), and Time Out (Beijing & Singapore), among others. She is passionate about the performing arts, and currently works as an arts manager at Centre 42, a non-profit theatre development space in Singapore.
