Benedict Phillips

Benedict has a long track record of delivering major public commissions and international residencies. His work is strongly informed by the core elements of his art practice – photography, sculpture and performance. As a consultant and artist he often works within design teams with public agencies, architects and community clients to deliver his art. As part of his public practice he established digital media labs in 2010 developing a new model for commissioning digital public art, which now creates bespoke residencies for artists working with technologies. Benedict has worked with curators and galleries in the UK, Europe and the US. His photography, artist books and limited editions have been collected and displayed in collections such as the Victoria and Albert museum, London.
