Access Scottish Theatre provides information about accessible performances at theatres across Scotland, for Deaf, deafened, hard of hearing and visually impaired audiences. Access Scottish Theatre is produced by flip: Disability Equality in the arts and published by the Federation of Scottish Theatre with funding from Creative Scotland.
Listings can be searched on the website through filtering by type of accessible service: Audio Described, BSL interpreted and Captioned. Searches can also be filtered by geographic area and venue. There is also building access information for partnered venues.
The printed guide is produced twice yearly providing information for the Autumn / Winter and Spring / Summer seasons. Brochures can be picked up in participating venues or a PDF of the current issues can be downloaded from the website. A large print version of the brochure can also be requested. In addition, you can subscribe to the AST monthly e-bulletin which emails out the listings of all the accessible performances being performed in the upcoming two month period.
