Lung Ha Theatre Company is a leading theatre company for people with learning disabilities, in Scotland and internationally. The Company was conceived in 1984, and has since created over 45 original theatre productions and worked with over 400 performers with a learning disability.
The Company works in partnership with many of the leading creative, and other, practitioners from across Scotland and beyond – including Made in Scotland, the Edinburgh International Festival, the Traverse Theatre, National Museums Scotland, the Edinburgh International Science Festival and as part of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. It’s work has been seen in Scotland, England, Ireland, Poland, France, Sweden and Finland.

In 2010 the Company was awarded the ‘Critics Award for Theatre on Scotland’ award for Best Ensemble, in coproduction with Grid Iron Theatre Company, for its production of Huxley’s Lab.
