Bizarre writing workshops open to all in beautiful light room in Sarum College overlooking The Cathedral Close. Accessible, friendly, and warm. Angela gives us weird things to do, and always encourages playfulness and risk taking in our writing. Sometimes we use extracts of plays or poems to inspire us, sometimes paintings and photos, sometimes clothes pegs and pipe cleaners. These are not formal learning sessions, but a chance to explore the power of words to create characters, express emotions, share experiences. And in doing so, to surprise yourself and each other. Tuesday mornings will never be the same.
These friendly, non-competitive sessions will be led by Angela Street and guaranteed to blow away creative cobwebs and tumbleweed.
Angela is an experienced workshop leader who runs Playwriting Salisbury+ to support and develop writers throughout the South West. She’s an accredited writing coach (Arvon, RD1st, NAWE) and winner of The Writers’ Guild Olwen Wymark Theatre Award for her work with new writers.
A LinkUp Arts subsidised project, open to all.
To join, please contact the Project Manager, Angela Street, on 01722 322143 or email firstname.lastname@example.org, or message on FB.
