Wheelchairs For Ukraine Gala fundraiser event, includes live Auction!

We’ve invited companies and people who have shown innovative approaches to mobility plus those businesses who have received inclusive training or who would like to. Guests can expect an enjoyable evening of fabulous food, live music and a live Auction. This event is a great networking opportunity too. All proceeds will help provide desperately needed wheelchairs, mobility aids and training for our work with disabled people in Ukraine.

The charity was founded in 2014 by Convener Michael Dunlop, who went on summer vacation to Ukraine and saw a desperate requirement for understanding the needs of disabled people. The charity wants to see an end to mobility poverty. General Manager Keith Robertson, who has been a wheelchair user for nearly 40 years, is passionate about inclusive environments not only in the Ukraine but around the world. He believes that disability has no borders. In April this year, in the Offices of the City of Odessa Government, we signed a memorandum of understanding with the City of Odessa and are the preferred advisors to help make the environment accessible for disabled people. We are not paid to do this and this is why we must raise funds.

A donation of £75 will secure a place at this fundraising evening. To book a table or to find out more information please reply to this email or phone me on 07922428980 or contact Keith or Michael on 01738553335 [ keith.wheelchairsforukraine@btconnect.com]. Please RSVP by 10th September.
