Contact is a leading national contemporary theatre and arts organisation based in Manchester, with young people at the heart of everything we do. We work locally, nationally and internationally to provide life-changing opportunities for the next generation of creative leaders, artists and audiences, redefining theatre in the process. We produce and present a professional programme of outstanding performances, events and festivals in our building, surprising places and virtual spaces, for a young and highly diverse audience.
This is an exciting time for Contact, with a £6.5m capital re-development under way which will secure the future of Contact’s vital work with young people across Greater Manchester for the next 20 years as well as improve the building’s environmental performance.
You will have overall responsibility for management of the building and facilities and will project manage the move back to Contact, overseeing the commissioning of the refurbished building in autumn 2019.
You will have a background in facilities and building management with experience of managing a public facing building and maintaining buildings, equipment and plant. Knowledge and experience of compliance management and Health & Safety at work legislation is essential. You will be passionate about environmental sustainability with a ‘can do’ attitude and a positive, flexible approach.
Deadline for submission of applications: 10am on Monday 4th February 2019.
