Music For Youth
Music for Youth (MFY) is an established and ambitious national youth music charity that works to provide young people across the UK with access to inspirational performance opportunities and experiences, reaching over 60,000 young musicians annually, in partnership with major arts venues and a network of UK-wide music education providers.
Music for Youth is seeking an experienced and talented individual to deliver its digital communications at an exciting time for the organisation in the lead up to its 50th anniversary in 2020. The Digital Communications Manager is a key member of the communications team and will be responsible for the digital communications for MFY’s UK wide festival series and events programme, with a focus on engaging young people making music outside of the formal sector to include the development of new partnerships.
The successful candidate will have knowledge and expertise in managing digital communications for an arts organisation and experience working with a Content Management System (CMS) and management of social media channels. Pivotal to this role is the leadership of strategic work to recruit audiences and young musicians for MFY’s live events whilst working with colleagues on integrated campaign planning.
