‘Paralympic Heritage – Stories from Bradford’ is a pair of exhibitions planned for Cartwright Hall and the Bradford Industrial Museum beginning January 2019. It will celebrate the story of the Paralympics and the Development of disability sport through a live exhibition and programme of events.

We want to commission a local deaf or disabled artist to work either with a community group or independently to produce artwork in response to the sporting content and stories of the exhibitions. It will not only form part of the display itself but also will be used at other regional and national events/exhibitions by the National Paralympic Heritage Trust including being featured on our website. We welcome all art forms.

The commission will be for 10 days work to produce two pieces of art in response to the exhibitions planned for Bradford.
