Inspired and informed by the unique historic playing conditions of two beautiful iconic theatres, our diverse programme of work harnesses the power of performance, cultivates intellectual curiosity and excites learning to make Shakespeare accessible for all.
Shakespeare’s Globe is currently seeking a Learning Projects Coordinator to be responsible for the coordination and administration of Education’s national and international projects for schools, young people and teachers, including Shakespeare’s Globe Southwark Youth Theatre, Our Theatre, Concert for Winter and Playing Shakespeare with Deutsche Bank.
The successful candidate will have proven administrative, time management and organisational skills as well as a good working knowledge of Office software, particularly Excel. The ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people, be quickly adaptable in changing situations, and work effectively as part of a team are all essential, with a passion for education in the Arts an advantage. As the role works closely with young people and schools, a satisfactory DBS check is required.
