I am a disabled writer, creator of exhibitions, activist and unapologetic meme propagandist for various campaigns, such as Not Dead Yet UK, DPAC (Disabled People Against Cuts), GMCDP (Greater Manchester Coalition of Disabled People) and the fight to save the Welsh Independent Living Grant. My first introduction to Disability Arts was at the 1987 ‘Arts and Disabled People Conference’ in Manchester. When I am not creating mayhem I do my best to avoid balloons and clowns.
