Katharine Goda

Katharine started writing to explore extraordinary moments in ordinary life, for their own sake and their reflection of experiences and values. Her work has been published/shortlisted for anthologies, blogs and journals, and commended/highly commended in national/international competitions. Because words connect people, writing is powerful and being heard is precious, she is passionate about developing community writing workshops, inviting a diverse range of fabulous people, especially those who have experienced exclusion, to play, explore, challenge and enjoy words and ideas. Her next step is to expand PopUpPoetry Durham, established with a friend, to encourage and celebrate unheard voices.
