Sarcastic Greeting Cards Are Us

When I was in hospital for a physical health problem, my bedside cabinet was bedecked with ‘get well soon’ cards. However, whenever I was on a psychiatric ward, I noticed the void of cards wishing me well. Maybe people thought I was going to eat the cards. Or maybe people don’t know what to say to mad people. I decided to fill the hole in the market with mad-appropriate cards that take the piss of the machine that destroys the human being under it. It is hard to find an appropriate Hallmark card to cover that. I think the next one I make will be a pop-up card that shoots up a syringe or the welcoming arms of ‘control and restraint’.

Brought to you by Burnmark Cards – we can’t do fluffy!
