Twenty-eight years ago I trained as a psychotherapist. Twenty years ago I began writing and performing. I have since worked in the NHS (including researching medically unexplained symptoms with a Masters degree in Psychosomatics), lectured at Goldsmiths and corelated my comedy and therapy expertise at numerous conferences.

I have written and performed shows for events such as London Literature Festival, Ledbury Poetry Festival, Latitude and Edinburgh Fringes including a show in the Fringe’s only swimming pool venue. I have published three poetry/flash fiction books and have written articles about my journey of healing myself and others in psychotherapy and health journals.

Currently I work in Private Practice and as external clinical supervisor at Lewisham College. I am editing my memoir and write a bi weekly blog for disability arts online. I continue to perform and host comedy events.

I was diagnosed with MS age twenty-three.
