Igniting, inspiring and nourishing the dancer in everyone; we offer a wide range of dance classes and courses for adults and an exciting and diverse community programme as well as supporting and developing the independent professional dance sector.

Within our adult dance programme, we offer an inclusive dance class, Universal Design in Dance. These creative and engaging sessions, led by Glasgow based performance artist and choreographer Caroline Bowditch, draw on Principles of Universal Design in dance pioneered by Jürg Koch at the University of Washington, Seattle.

\Instead of a disability specific approach of ‘adapting’ movement to suit individuals, this approach allows everyone in the class to work with the same principles and use them in a way that works for them and allows them to push themselves.

The sessions are held in a wheelchair accessible space and BSL interpretation is available on request (with 1 weeks’ notice).
