Bamboozle are embarking on a tour of UK theatres with their immersive multi-sensory production Pulse; an original story inspired by the soulful sounds of the deep south and other-worldly atmosphere of the American Dust Bowl.
The audience meet Patience and Bird who are waiting for rain in the dusty, dry heat. Every day is the same – never any rain – and so they wait. Will today be different? Along comes Clanky Jane with her ‘Cloud-O-Matic’ machine: a strange, noisy contraption made from junk. But will some crazy percussion and a bit of magic make the rain come?
Pulse creates an immersive word featuring captivating visual effects, puppetry, live music and a sprinkling of water.
Bamboozle are presenting two versions of the production, one version of the show is designed for young audiences who might be described as having profound and multiple learning disabilities, (PMLD), where the audience is limited to just six children along with their families, carers and teachers. The second version of the show – Pulse Relaxed – opens the experience to larger groups.
