A grid of different people's faces captured from an online theatre workshop delivered via Zoom.

“I love coming to these workshops because I forget about the rest of my life. My mood lifts, and I feel completely different at the end from how I felt at the beginning.” Brighton People’s Theatre Workshop Member

Since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, we have experimented with running online theatre workshops. These have been so successful, we are planning to run these throughout 2021 and beyond.

Join us on Zoom for weekly fun and games from the comfort of your own home. Come and play with a group of people, who, just like you, are curious about theatre.

No previous experience is necessary. You might have done some theatre when you were in school, or you just want to do something fun, for an hour or two a week. Or maybe, you have always dreamt of becoming an actor but have not known where to start. If this sounds like you, Brighton People’s Theatre is the place for you.

Workshops are led by professional theatre directors, you’ll meet others interested in theatre and we promise a lot of fun. We’re building a company of people interested in being involved in future Brighton People’s Theatre productions.

Open to people over the age of 18, with a BNpostcode, and who have never worked professionally in the arts.

DATES: Monday 4 January – Monday 29 March 2021
TIME: 6-7.30pm
VENUE: Online via Zoom (sign in details will be sent once you have booked)
COST: Our online workshops are £10 per session, or for those on a low income it is Pay What You Decide
