Join Penny Pepper for a livestream event direct from the Kino-Teatr at St Leonards-on-Sea.

In recognition of UK Disability History Month and last UN International Day of Disabled People, Penny declares her dream to run a TV channel to feature not only her work – poems, readings, music and personal stories – but projects from around the world, exposing disability culture and creativity to a new online audience.

Guests will include;

Liz Carr – Actor, Comedian and activist reading an excerpt from Penny’s monologue Letter from Paul.

Jake Arnott – In an interview-off – who can ask the most questions first! Jake lives locally and is a best-selling novelist including ‘The Long Firm’ and ‘House of Rumour’ He is also a long time ally of the disability rights movement. Penny particularly approves of his Prosecco-buying talents.


Jo Cox composer of seriously sensuous works who loves cross-art forms of collaboration with some evocative electric cello. Jo is a long-time collaborator and friend of Penny’s.

A short film by Penny’s long-term friend and avant-garde conceptual artist, the late Katherine Araniello.
To quote LADA Katherine was “an extraordinary human being, a tireless and audacious activist, and an accomplished and groundbreaking artist.”

The event will be livestreamed across Disability Arts Online’s YouTube and Facebook channels.
