What you’ll do
Join our Visitor Experience team for a drop-in object-handling session, where you can get up close to some of the items in our collection.
There will be different stations throughout the space, each with objects that you can touch.
You can explore the objects at your own pace and join in with some creative activities.
Come along if you are interested in the connections between health, history and art.
Chill-out room
We want you to feel comfortable to be yourself and experience the session in a way that is right for you.
Any time you want to find a space away from the activities, you can head to our chill-out room to lie down or relax.
There will be low lighting, comfortable seating, cushions and mats throughout the room. You can also make use of ear defenders, earplugs, stim toys and materials with different textures.

Getting here
We’re located in central London and accessible by public transport. You can find information about getting here on our website, and about transport accessibility from Transport for London. If you would like one of our staff to meet you at the nearest station and help you make your way to our building, speak with our Visitor Experience team in advance.
We have limited parking available for Blue Badge holders. Please contact our visitor experience team to book.
