Got something to say? Everyone has! But how to get started? And if you have already started, how to keep going? If you are a beginner writer, or looking to build your writing skills, you will find inspiration and guidance on this course of one-and-half-hour online evening sessions. You will have an opportunity to develop your talents with Roger Mills and like-minded students.
The sessions are run on a practical and informal basis, with the emphasis on sharing work and encouraging discussion in a welcoming and supportive environment. Prose, poetry, short stories, real-life stories — any sort of writing at all is welcome.

Roger Mills is an experienced creative writing tutor, having planned and run courses and sessions at Eastside Arts in Whitechapel and the Mary Ward Centre in Bloomsbury. He has also run history workshop courses and organised conferences. His work in both fiction and in history has appeared in books, periodicals and magazines. He co-wrote a film on East London writing for Channel 4. Roger was an assistant editor of Rising East – The Journal of East London Studies, produced by the University of East London.
