Come and spend some time with Quiplash to learn how to integrate audio description creatively into your dance practice!

This online week-long intensive will be facilitated by Amelia and Al Lander-Cavallo. Amelia is a queer, blind multi-disciplinary performer, access consultant and trainer. Al is a neurodiverse visual artist, access consultant and trainer. Together with some excellent guest speakers, they will bring you sessions on different ways of thinking about audio description, access and inclusion, all from an intersectional, disability justice framework.

New to audio description? Not a problem! Come learn about this exciting and creative access tool in a playful and practical way. This will include some light, independent tasks that folks will be asked to bring into sessions throughout the week.

Each session will be run as relaxed sessions over Zoom from 2-6pm (BST) with multiple breaks. There will be a mix of presentation, discussion and practical exercises to get you moving and describing in whatever way suits you best.

Workshop is BSL interpreted and will have live captions available.
