Europe Beyond Access is Europe’s largest Arts & Disability Project. Supported by the Creative Europe programme of the European Union, Europe Beyond Access spans 8 European countries, 4 years, and a budget of €4m.

Europe Beyond Access is led by the British Council, as part of a partnership of 7 of Europe’s leading arts organisations.

The British Council has designed a comprehensive Evaluation strategy for Europe Beyond Access. Not only do we want to rigorously investigate the success of the project, we also are seeking evidence to support national and Europe-wide policy influence.

Today, 24 February 2020, British Council is publicising a Request for Proposals from parties interested in being considered for two of our four evaluation elements: a) a research study into Europe Beyond Access’s influence on job creation for disabled artists in Europe; and b) a research study on the national impact of the project in 3 of the project countries – Sweden, Poland and Italy.

We welcome evaluation proposals which are led by Arts & Disability organisations, drawing in the expertise of expert evaluators. Equally, we welcome applications from Evaluation specialist organisations, working in partnership with experts in Arts & Disability. The British Council, as part of the procurement journey, is happy to inform evaluation specialist organisations of individuals or companies within the Arts & Disability sector who could be contacted as potential delivery partners.

The detailed Request for Quotations can be downloaded here.
