DaDa is a pioneering disability and Deaf arts organisation based in Liverpool with a national and international reach. We programme a multi-art form year-round artistic programme that includes high quality festivals, interventions and events as well as support for young and emerging disabled artists.

We are looking for a well-organised individual to work alongside our artistic team to help ensure that the access needs of staff, artists and participants are met. You will be organising and managing access logistics, liaising with venues and artists, attending events and providing general administrative support so that access remains at the core of our activities and our ethos

You will need to be an effective organiser with a good understanding of disability culture and an ability to multi-task and prioritise work. You will also need to be able to work closely with a range of colleagues, artists, participants and partners and contribute to the effective working of our artistic team.

We would encourage applications from people with an understanding and/or experience of the government’s Access to Work scheme or who have some experience of working in creative industries, charity or education, ideally with young disabled, Deaf or neurodivergent people.

We recognise that the following people are underrepresented in our work force and in the wider performing arts sector, those people who experience racism and marginalisation, who are discriminated against, and facing intersecting barriers including those who are Deaf, disabled and neuro-divergent or have long-term health conditions; those from African, Caribbean, LatinX, Middle East, North African, South Asian, East and South East Asian heritages and their diasporas.

To encourage applications from both communities, any candidate who identifies as the above people and who demonstrates in the application form that they meet all of the essential criteria in the person specification is guaranteed an interview irrespective of score at shortlisting.

We are open to discussions about how we cover this role and we would invite both job share applications and are committed to flexible working.
