DASH continues to provide Artist Mentoring Support covering everything from artist practice, networking, access issues and more. Supporting Disabled visual artists with their development as well as to counter the isolation that the pandemic has brought to us all.
Mentoring is offered via phone/skype/zoom on a first come first served basis to any Disabled visual artist across the UK at any stage of their career. The mentoring is open ended and there is no limit to the number of sessions available. Each session lasts for one hour.
Here is what some of our artists had to say about their mentoring experience:
“DASH’s approach to personalised mentoring has created a tailor made service allowing me to express myself creatively and professionally”
“It’s helped me develop as an artist and given me the confidence to apply for opportunities, these have included, residences, grant applications, exhibitions, Scholarships and jobs”
“DASH have boosted my confidence and I now claim the title of ‘artist’.”
“For the first time in ages, I am not second guessing myself, I am just creating.”
