A fantastic opportunity to join the team at Disability Arts Online, the UK’s leading journal for arts and culture from a disability perspective.
We are looking for an Arts Administrator to join the small, dedicated staff team to carry out a range of financial and administrative tasks to assist the smooth running of the organisation. As a work from home job, being able to work remotely and use digital communication channels is essential. This is a perfect opportunity for those with experience looking to return to work, or people wanting to develop a career in arts administration.
We are dedicated to increasing the number of disabled people in the arts and cultural workforce and ideally this role will support that aim. We acknowledge that institutional racism, discrimination and inequality exists in our sector and we are particularly seeking to recruit people with lived experience of racism or marginalisation into our team. This includes working class, LGBTQIA+, people of African and Caribbean heritage, people of South, East, and South East Asian heritage, people of Jewish heritage, Gypsies and Travellers and other marginalised groups, as well intersectional individuals. We are proactively working on anti-racism in our programme, and we have a strong commitment to diversity and inclusion and ensuring our staff, Board and volunteers are representative.
Applicants should be available for a Zoom conversation on the week commencing 4th January. All applicants will be notified by 18th December.
How to apply:
Apply by email to email@example.com by 23:59 on Sunday 13th December 2020.
