Disability Arts Online
Disability Arts Online (DAO) is a disability-led arts organisation and Arts Council England NPO. We assist professional development through commissioning, training, showcasing, networking and giving a platform to disabled artists and writers through supporting and encouraging journalism and blogging.
Along with this activity, we work with partners to organise regional events, the British Council to increase the awareness of disabled artists internationally, and the Department of Works and Pensions to create a robust Access to Work Guide.
We are specifically looking for a Trustee with a background in Finance. We want to develop our knowledge of gift aid and investment management, monitoring performance and developing investment policy. We welcome applications from everyone but also want our Trustee Board to reflect the diversity of the communities we work with.
Trustees are unpaid (we reimburse expenses, and we organise travel arrangements for Trustees and support workers) and will need to be available on Saturdays for four Board meetings and an away day each year.
To apply, please send a CV and cover letter stating why you would be interested in becoming a Trustee to Amy Zamarripa Solis, along with a completed equal opportunities monitoring form. Do also get in touch if this application process is inaccessible to you.
Closing Date is midnight 16 September 2019; applications are assessed as they are received. Interviews will be arranged as soon as possible after this date.
