The Cultural Education Manager will strategically work to help Doncaster Cultural and Education Partnership to fulfil its mission to sustain and promote a cultural offer for all children and young people, including the most vulnerable (those in socially and economically deprived areas, SEN, children in care, children at risk of exclusion). They will work to build sustainability and infrastructure within the Doncaster Culture and Education Partnership, through strategic planning, communications and advocacy.

• 8 Months (fixed term contract), part time hour (16 hours per week)
• Salary is £1,2012

• The Cultural Education Manager will be part of the Doncaster Cultural Education Partnership, hosted by and line managed by the Head of Participation (Cast)

Cast is looking for a candidate with the following experience and skills:

• A genuine passion for arts and culture, and the positive impact that has on the lives of children and young people, families and staff, within an education setting. In particular the impact on attainment, aspirations, wellbeing, child development, and behaviour.
• An in-depth knowledge of the education system (including the National Curriculum).
• A willingness to become familiar with the new Ofsted framework, particularly in relation to wider opportunities and personal development.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills, and the ability to communicate well with senior leadership teams, including head teachers and governors.
