London Creative Network (LCN), artist development programme run by SPACE, directly responds to the pressing needs and desires of artists who want access to peer-networking, new production technologies, business skills and support to finding the right audience. It is an artist development programme that delivers bespoke mentoring and project-specific support for artists, their businesses and collectives in London. Support does not include a production budget, free studio space or an exhibition.

The emphasis is on the development of new works and new creative business skills that ultimately lead to the sustainability of an artist’s practice. Artists receive a minimum of 12 hours support. This support is tailored to the individual needs of each artists through:
– Attending at least 3 Saturday training sessions, comprised of workshops and panel discussions
– 1-2-1 mentoring with LCN mentors
– Panel discussions and tours with curators and industry experts

In the past, LCN has worked with people such as Kirsty Ogg, Helen Nisbet, Cedar Lewisohn, Rebecca Morrill, 12ø Collective, London Centre for Book Arts, Bainbridge Print Studio, Machines Room and Blackhorse Workshop.
