Mind the Gap Theatre
Remuneration: £26,999 to £30,507 depending on experience.
About Mind the Gap:
Mind the Gap is one of Europe’s leading learning-disability led theatre companies. We take a collaborative approach to theatre making. Our work is inspired by the experiences, ideas, ambitions and talents of the learning-disabled artists who sit at the heart of the company and everything we do. The company is an Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation, and registered charity no. 328476.
About the Role:
We are seeking a Senior Producer who will work as part of the Management Team to realise creative ideas into practically deliverable and financially viable opportunities. This will involve building relationships and partnerships that support the company’s artistic goals, outputs and outcomes, and financial sustainability.
You will be working on projects that involve a range of artforms (theatre, choreography, music, digital) and at a range of scales. Like all jobs at the company this is very much a “hands on” role that will involve working directly with learning-disabled artists on a regular basis. We are looking for someone who will apply equal attention and diligence to all projects large and small.
The successful applicant will be able to show a proven track record in planning, developing and delivering high quality theatre experiences. They will have knowledge of the UK arts sector, and demonstrate experience in building strong relationships with artistic collaborators, producers and programmers. We are looking for someone with an imaginative, enthusiastic, flexible and inclusive approach.
Mind the Gap welcomes and actively encourages applications from the widest range of backgrounds. If you require information in an alternative format please contact us.
