Music for Youth (MFY) is looking for an enthusiastic Development Manager for its small but mighty team.

Music for Youth supports the next generation of great British musicians, offering them life changing performance opportunities through a curated programme of large-scale, high quality music festivals and specialist events across the UK, with both emerging and professional musicians. Established nearly 50 years ago, MFY is a unique national organisation with an established reputation, partnerships with major art venues and a network of experienced music mentors. We reach over 60,000 young musicians, every single year.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain wide experience across the whole fundraising function, whilst having defined responsibility for managing key funding relationships. The successful candidate will have a can-do attitude, be a self-starter, personable and well-organised as well as having a keen eye for detail and bucket loads of enthusiasm for Music for Youth’s work.

You will be responsible for overseeing all corporate and regular donor relationships and will play a key role in supporting our 50th Birthday appeal. You must have some prior experience in a fundraising role and be excited by the opportunity to work for a national youth music organisation during a transformational year.
