Northern Stage is seeking to appoint a SOUND DESIGNER for a forthcoming MAIN HOUSE production.
Artistic Director Natalie Ibu’s – yet to be announced – first production for Northern Stage will take place in Stage 1 in October 2021.

The show is part of THIS IS US – our year long season devoted to radical diversity of stories, characters, lives, forms, locations and times to remind us who we are in a time where we’ve had to retreat into bubbles to protect ourselves and each other.

The show is a snapshot and celebration of Northern life, rooted in the North East and we are looking for a Sound Designer either from, or currently based in the North East of England to join the Creative Team for the production. We are looking for Sound Designers who have worked on at least two previous professional mid-scale productions.

We particularly welcome applications from Black and ethnically diverse people and those who identify as living with a disability.
