We are currently seeking to appoint a new Chair or Co-Chairs, and two or three new trustees to our Board. This is an exciting opportunity to work with us as we continue to evolve and grow as an organisation, and to lead and be part of a dynamic Board that works to inspire, challenge and support the Executive Team and staff. We are keen to meet motivated and passionate individuals who believe in the role the arts plays in changing people’s lives and shaping the society in which we live.

As a small company and registered charity, we value the set of diverse skills and life experiences that our current trustees bring, and we are hoping to expand that skillset further to harness fresh perspectives. It’s important that our Board represents the diversity of the world we live in as well as the people our work is for. We are a national touring organisation producing work for young people and as such we welcome applications from all groups and from all areas of the country.

The term of appointment for our Chair is five years and as part of this recruitment process we are open to the recruitment of Co-Chairs which would mirror our Joint-Executive (please indicate in your application if you would be interested in Co-Chairing our Board). Additionally, we are especially keen to hear from young people, people currently working in an educational setting and people with expertise in finance. We also welcome applications from people who can only attend meetings remotely.

Interested? We’d love to hear from you! To apply please send us your CV along with either a short letter, video or audio file (5 minutes maximum) outlining why you would like to join our Board and what you can bring to Pilot.

You can find an application pack and more information on our website.
