Punchdrunk are working on a new theatrical gaming project. This project is a co-production with an overseas software development partner. We are looking for a Creative Producer to join the project. The role is responsible for facilitating the creative process between Punchdrunk and our partner, covering areas such as game design, art and audio.

Duties include:

● Establishing and maintaining and understanding of the Punchdrunk Creative team’s creative requirements for the project;
● Ensuring these requirements are communicated to our partner, and negotiating a the best possible outcome in ensuring these requirements are met;
● Maintaining a detailed ongoing understanding of development process, and ensuring this is effectively communicated to the Creative Team;
● Working with our partner to establish and maintain a detailed rolling understanding of expectations, deliverables and deadlines that our partner has of the Punchdrunk Creative team, and ensuring these are effectively communicated to the Creative Team;
● Working with the creative team to establish and maintain a detailed rolling schedule of work to ensure these expectations, deliverables and deadlines are fulsomely met;
● Identifying any additional resource, including personnel, required in order to facilitate this work;
● Working closely with our partner to design and maintain an effective creative process in each of the areas of focus;
● Working closely with the Producer, who acts as primary contact with our partner overseas, to enable communication, facilitation and organisation with our partner;
● Working closely with the Senior Producer, Producer and Project Manager on detailed planning for the entire project;
● Attending company or project events and representing the company as needed;
● Maintaining positive relationships with Punchdrunk colleagues and with project partners;
● Complying with company policies at all times, including but not limited to Equal Opportunities, GDPR, Confidentiality and Health & Safety; and
● Any other duties reasonably required.

Essential Person Specification

• At least two-years professional experience in a similar role;
• Experience of working with game or software development;
• A passion for immersive theatre and gaming;
• Experience of working with the USA;
• An exceptional communicator, with experience of working with creative and producing teams.

Desirable

• Experience of Punchdrunk’s work;
• Experience of location-based gaming.

Information

• The role is primarily based at Punchdrunk’s offices in central London and Woolwich, with some working from home.
• General working hours 10am-6pm Monday – Friday, however flexible working hours encouraged to allow for evening calls with the USA.
• The role will include periods of international travel and evening / weekend work.

Engagement

This is a fixed-term engagement with Punchdrunk Global Limited, starting as soon as possible, until 31 st December 2022.
