Searching for young talent with Down’s syndrome for a BBC series.

Filming in Cardiff between 22nd March – 2nd May 2021 (your child would only be required for a handful of days within this period). The show shoots in Cardiff but you do not need to be based in Cardiff.

We are looking for:

Playing age anywhere between 8 – 13
Any ethnicity
Accent: Neutral or Welsh or Soft Northern

No previous acting experience required, just an interest in drama!

The character is a gregarious, outgoing girl who is instantly loveable. And loves being the centre of attention. She’s mad about bowling and cats. At that age where she’s still in to kiddy things, but is also starting to turn her sights to more teenage pursuits, like trying to copy the dances she sees on music videos.

The shoot will adhere to Covid-19 Protocol but unfortunately we are not able to work with children who are classified as clinically vulnerable. The latest government guidelines do not list children with Down’s syndrome as clinically vulnerable but please do speak to your medical practitioner if you have any concerns.

The project will be paid as per industry standards.

If your child is interested please email: Name, age, where you’re based and a recent photo to: admin@rachelsheridancasting.com

Please do not email if your child does not fit the brief.
