Sour Lemons addresses the lack of diverse leadership in the creative, cultural and social sectors. At

Making LEMONADE is our flagship creative leadership programme which levels the playing field for
young leaders aged 18-25 who have experienced a ‘sour lemon’ or two in life. Our effective model
equips them with the skills, networks and experiences needed to develop creative career
paths and smash down barriers that have previously held them back. We believe that lived
experience is key to authentic leadership, so we support our young leaders to use their diversity to
create more inclusive spaces where everyone can thrive.
About The Role
We’re looking for someone who is excited by (and highly skilled in) finance, commercial
management, processes, people, culture and compliance. Basically all the things that will build our
infrastructure and set us up to succeed in the way we do business.

The Operations and Finance lead is a crucial role and the third position we’ve created. We need
someone to lead on the business operations of Sour Lemons which will support the Founder and
Chief Executive to focus on creating the next part of our strategy and generating the income to go
You will work across all areas of the charity to ensure that we are not only compliant but leading
with best practices. This will involve collaborating with our Board of Trustees, Project Delivery
Team, Partners, Funders and Alumni. The role will involve strengthening the existing foundations,
whilst leading the development of new layers as we grow.
