The South London Gallery (SLG) is seeking a dynamic and proactive Young People’s Programme Manager, who is responsible, with the support of the Young People’s Programme Coordinator, for the planning and implementation of the South London Gallery’s Young People’s Programme, including the SLG’s young people’s forum, Art Assassins, the REcreative Editorial Board, and the REcreative Film School.

This vital role also oversees a new partnership project funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund with SOAS, the Igbo Studies Initiative and Autograph APB to deliver a programme of work in response to the archive of social anthropologist Northcote Thomas, who collected sound recordings, photographs and artefacts in Nigeria and Sierra Leone from 1909 to 1915.

As such, this is an exciting time to join the SLG’s experienced Education team. We are looking for a candidate who can champion the inclusion of young people in every part of the SLG’s programme.
