The word Transform is placed at the centre of the image in bold, black capitals with the numbers 21-22, in black typeface beneath. The background is neon green with a gradual shift in hue to a light lavender colour.

Working closely with the Transform team, the Trainee Producer will have the opportunity to learn and develop producing skills necessary for delivering a variety of brand-new productions and visiting international shows. You will also learn about and support our wider work with young people and communities.

The term ‘producing’ is regularly used in the performing arts but we acknowledge this means different things to different people and sectors. In this context by ‘producer’ we mean someone who makes things happen.

You will be able to access training within this role from the whole team and we will support you to build confidence and undertake tasks independently. On a typical day at Transform you might: research venues where our events can take place, help artists get to where they need to be, join a workshop with young people or source props for performances.

To apply for this Kickstart role, you must be 16-24 and currently claiming Universal Credit. In order to qualify for this role, you must be referred to apply to it by your Work Coach at JobCentre Plus. Please talk to your Work Coach before applying. You don’t need previous experience in the arts to be considered for this role, but you do need a curiosity and interest to learn more about the work Transform does.
