The Young Vic is looking for a creative and experienced individual to lead our successful and high-performing marketing team.
A registered charity and theatrical powerhouse, the Young Vic is synonymous with inclusivity, accessibility and creativity. We create performances that catalyse debate and are priced accessibly for our audiences, giving 10% of tickets away to those who experience barriers to engaging with the arts. We are deeply rooted in our local communities of Lambeth and Southwark, through Taking Part, at the same time as being internationally recognised for productions made with the world’s finest performers and creative teams. We are also proud to develop the next generation of emerging talent through our national, free scheme: the Director’s Program.
About the Role
We are looking for dynamic, results orientated and collaborative candidates, passionate about the mission of the Young Vic. Applicants should be experienced in leading an arts marketing department or working at a senior level in a marketing or advertising agency. We are keen to meet candidates with the ability to motivate, inspire and influence people and cultivate the best audiences for the Young Vic’s work. The successful individual will have an appetite to promote and support the wide range of productions, projects and events that the Young Vic creates – locally in our neighbourhood with friends and residents, on our stages, nationally and internationally. Since autumn 2020 we have been celebrating our 50th Anniversary year, and we are marking the extraordinary impact the theatre has had on the arts and culture sector. This role is an extraordinary, creative opportunity that we hope will attract highly-motivated candidates.

Contract: Full Time. Permanent. Evening and weekend work will be required.
