Playlist: Dance, Dance, Dance

This is a real pick ‘n’ mix of movement makers and dancers that have entertained me, inspired me and excited me over the years. In the first few years of making dance after becoming disabled, I never wanted to make work about my lived experience about disability, but focus on how I could make dance and choreography accessible for me as a disabled artist.

From the iconic DV8’s Cost of Living, to B-boy Lazylegs and beautiful new work by Joel Brown and Eve Mutso, this seems to be the connection throughout this playlist, dance works created for and by disabled artists that aren’t necessarily focusing on disability itself.

*PLEASE NOTE* Unfortunately, not all films are officially subtitled, but all have the built-in YouTube closed captions.
